I'm a southern gal transplanted in New England when my husband became a youth pastor in Boston fulfilling a dream of mine---the full embrace of city living! I am the mother of two little guys, and I can relate to the whole two under two adventure. Be assured that I know how to make sessions feel like a game when children are involved. I was a theater major at the University of Virginia, and photography quickly became my creative outlet since graduation. I love to travel and experience new places whether that's a new park around the corner, a road trip to a new state, or a meticulously planned trip to a new country with the chance to experience new cultures and customs; the best part of all is making and capturing new memories. I look forward to getting to know you and your family as I capture your life's moments and memories too.

Session Details
We'll meet for an hour session before sunset or after sunrise capturing the best light and that golden hue as you are prompted to enjoy each other. The session will include a plentiful mix of posed and candid photos as I guide you and your loved ones into the most flattering positions and then encourage you to interact from there. Even my most reluctant clients have left our time together saying, "That wasn't so bad after all. In fact it was kind of fun."
In terms of location, we can make this decision together taking into account places that are meaningful and special to you. I am also happy to make recommendations for beautiful spaces in and around Boston based on the feel you are looking for whether it be a park or urban landscape. I love scouting new locations for clients and returning to tried and true favorites as well. I am also always happy to weigh in on attire and styling for your session and will promptly respond to questions leading up to our time together.
Once I have captured your session, I will edit your photos and send you a digital gallery. You will be able to download your images and I'll make recommendations for professional printing and album creation.
